Vegebond's Feedback ¶
This is from the perspective of an operator, a sysadmin, a programmer, and someone who doesn't care that much about visual style for this kind of thing.
- Isail was able to make a folder called
-Classes, which then presents itself in urls likehttps://13thage.wiki/-Classes/commander-2e-conversion. Looks awkward and janky. Very easy to fix withmv "./-Classes" classesin bash, buuut that requires manual sysadmin intervention. There is a "Move/Rename" button in edit pages? Might be better.
** iSail: The problem shows up when you try to make a nested document. I have created a new folder called "Test" using \test as the path. All good. When I try to create a new document in that folder it suggests the path "-test". - Wiki Go is very simple to run! Cheap too, uses apparently 150MB RAM idling.
- Markdown is good. Limited ability to style, means people won't waste time trying to style. Mileage may vary.
- Trivial to export the entire site to a (nested) folder of markdown files, which are basically plain text. No lock in, easy data sovereignty. Easy to change hosts, since the data is durable and easy to interchange.
